Kassandra Tat

Kassandra Tat serves as an attorney at Fitch Law Partners LLP in Quincy, Massachusetts, where she concentrates on family law matters. Her practice encompasses a comprehensive range of family-related legal issues, including custody arrangements, parenting time schedules, alimony determinations, child support calculations and property division during divorce proceedings. She also handles probate matters for clients throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Before joining the team at Fitch Law Partners LLP, Ms. Tat developed valuable experience as an associate at a multipractice law firm. During this time, she represented individuals facing challenges in family law situations, probate proceedings and real estate transactions. This diverse background has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of how various legal fields intersect with family matters.

Ms. Tat earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School, where she contributed significantly to legal scholarship as a case comment editor for the Suffolk Journal of Trial & Appellate Advocacy. Her academic foundation began at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts.

Community involvement remains important to Ms. Tat, who currently serves on the board of Quincy After School Child Care (QCARE). Her commitment to social causes is further demonstrated through her previous board membership with Domestic Violence Ended (DOVE). She additionally volunteers as a youth mentor with the College Access Program at the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center, helping young people navigate educational opportunities.

While pursuing her legal education, Ms. Tat gained practical courtroom experience as a certified student attorney under Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:03. Through Suffolk University Law School's Family Advocacy Clinic, she provided direct representation to clients. She further developed her litigation skills working in the Superior Court Trial Unit at the Committee for Public Counsel Services. She has also contributed to legal literature with her published work examining Fourth Amendment implications in animal rights cases.
