Her commitment to community service is evident through her volunteer work with the Women's Bar Foundation Family Law Project for Battered Women and representation of clients in 209A protective order proceedings. She has also volunteered with the Lawyer's Project's Family Law and Guardianship Clinics at Suffolk County Probate and Family Court.
Ms. Schwartz achieved a notable legal victory in Lopez-Valencia v. Lynch (2015), successfully arguing before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit to reverse a Board of Immigration Appeals removal decision.
Actively involved with the legal community, Ms. Schwartz maintains memberships in the Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Women's Bar Association and the Trusts and Estates Consortium.
