Kurt S. Kusiak

As a partner at Fitch Law Partners LLP, in Boston, Massachusetts, Kurt S. Kusiak represents companies, partnerships and individual clients throughout New England and the United States.  He focuses his practice on litigation cases that involve the following matters: complex business litigation, corporate and partnership disputes and breakups, freeze outs, misappropriation of trade secrets, trust and estate litigation involving breaches of fiduciary duty, probate litigation, land use and zoning matters,  noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements, negotiation of employment and severance agreements, and intellectual property rights.

Upon receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College, Mr. Kusiak went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 1991. While earning his law degree, he was an editor of the law review, won the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in trial advocacy, and was honored as a Paul J. Liacos Distinguished Scholar.  He has also been named by Boston Magazine as one of the top lawyers in the region since 2021.

As an attorney with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Kusiak has handled many cases in both federal and state courts. He represents clients from across the spectrum of commercial law and understands the complex nature of business litigation. As a result of his successes, Mr. Kusiak was named in The Best Lawyers in America* since 2013. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
