Marilyn T. McGoldrick

Marilyn T. McGoldrick is a trial attorney with more than 33 years of commitment to securing justice for individuals harmed by defective products and pharmaceuticals. As a partner at Thornton Law Firm LLP in Boston, Massachusetts, she has made a name for herself in the national arena, holding corporations accountable nationwide for injuries sustained by consumers.

Ms. McGoldrick’s practice encompasses pharmaceutical drug and medical device litigation, as well as insurance subrogation and class action claims involving wage and hour violations, including unpaid wages, overtime, prevailing wage deficits, minimum wage noncompliance and the misclassification of employees as independent contractors. In each matter, she champions the rights of individuals overshadowed by corporate interests.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987, Ms. McGoldrick pursued legal studies at Suffolk University Law School, graduating Juris Doctor cum laude in 1992. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

Deeply engaged in the legal community, Ms. McGoldrick holds leadership and advisory positions across numerous organizations. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys and the American Association for Justice. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board of the Women’s Table and co-chairs the New Lawyers Section of the Boston Bar Association.
