Robert S. Martin

An adept and knowledgeable attorney and a partner at the law firm of Tentindo, Kendall, Canniff & Keefe, LLP, in Charlestown, Massachusetts, Robert S. Martin manages the firm’s appellate practice and has argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the New Hampshire Supreme Court, among others. He also handles cases pertaining to workers’ compensation and insurance defense, striving to provide clients with respite in their legal woes and an opportunity to move on to better prospects.

Mr. Martin completed his undergraduate studies in 2011, graduating from Trinity College with his Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went on to pursue legal studies at New England Law | Boston, where he served as the editor for the New England Law Review. He received his Juris Doctor in 2014 and, in the same year, obtained his license to practice in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Prior to graduating from law school, Mr. Martin clerked for Tentindo, Kendall, Canniff & Keefe, LLP, where he gained immense exposure in research, information gathering and strategizing in real time with practicing attorneys. The practice knowledge gained during that period of time still informs his shrewd legal acumen today.

A consummate professional, Mr. Martin is not easily phased by the complexities of the legal obstacles that stand in his path to gain relief for his clients. He pays attention to every detail of a case and uses every advantage available to him to make his clients’ cases strongly defensible. Outside his law practice, he helped author a chapter for the LexisNexis Practice Guide: Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation on attorney’s fees, penalties, recoupment, fraud, enforcement, withdrawal of representation and third-party settlements.
