Daniel P. Neelon

Through his firms, Boston International Law Group LLC and Neelon & Associates, LLC, Daniel P. Neelon, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his legal representation of businesses in the Boston, Massachusetts metroplex and surrounding areas, as well as clients in Texas and clients engaged in litigation rights or transactions in foreign countries. A member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, he provides business transactional and litigation strategies, negotiation, documentation and advice to international and domestic clients. He has obtained a Certificate of Foreign Admitted Lawyer in the country of Mongolia, where Boston International Law Group LLC has a registered representative office in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar.

Mr. Neelon focuses his practice in the following business areas and related litigation: acquisitions, mergers and disposition of securities and assets; broker-dealer contracts; company plans for bonuses, profit-sharing, stock options, stock appreciation, and investigations of incidents and employees; corporate governance; legal strategies and organization; domestic and transnational business contract negotiation and preparation; energy exploration and development; mining investments; executive compensation and evaluation; hiring and releasing employees; investment banking relationships; leases of real estate; private securities placements; securities compliance opinions; and technology and patent licenses; and restaurant dispositions and acquisitions.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia with high distinction, Mr. Neelon went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is currently admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Texas, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts, the Western District of Texas and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 1st and 7th Circuits.

An accomplished legal writer, Mr. Neelon has published in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, the State Bar of Texas Asian Pacific Interest Section newsletter, and the Barnstable County Bar Association's Barrister newsletter. A Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, Mr. Neelon's civil litigation experience includes cases involving allegations of securities fraud, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, business and financial fraud, business contract disputes, trade secret misappropriation, and unfair and deceptive trade and business practices. Mr. Neelon was one of only seven Massachusetts lawyers named as the nation’s top attorneys in Business/Corporate Law in Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers® Business Edition Annual Directory 2018.
