Mitchell J. Notis

Keeping a focus on employees’ rights, attorney Mitchell J. Notis pursues all aspects of employment law, including discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful termination. From Brookline, Massachusetts, he represents clients from Bristol County, Essex County, Middlesex County, Norfolk County, Plymouth County, Suffolk County, the Boston metropolitan area and Eastern Massachusetts.

After completing his bachelor’s degree at Brandeis University in 1975, Mr. Notis received his Juris Doctor in 1978 from Georgetown University Law Center. After a considerable time working with the American Federation of Government Employees and a midsized Boston-based boutique law firm, he launched the Law Office of Mitchell J. Notis to uphold the rights of all employees from various backgrounds.  He also served for several years as a Clinical Instructor in employment discrimination, at the WilmerHale Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School.

Mr. Notis is accredited to practice in the District of Columbia and Massachusetts, and in various state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States. An active member of the Massachusetts State Bar, he has appeared before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and all state and federal courts (in bench and jury trials) in Massachusetts.

Over the past four decades, Mr. Notis has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of people.
