Michael P. Thaler

Attorney Michael P. Thaler is the founder of Law Office of Michael Thaler, Esq., in Dedham, Massachusetts. Mr. Thaler devotes his practice to criminal defense and DUI law, and he serves clients in Dedham and throughout the greater Boston, Massachusetts, region.

Before founding his firm, Mr. Thaler worked as an assistant district attorney for several years. He has handled thousands of cases, including felony trials in superior and district courts. This knowledge and experience provided him with awareness and insight into the strategies prosecutors use in cases, which he uses to his advantage when representing his criminal defense clients.

Mr. Thaler understands the devastating impact a criminal charge or conviction can have on all aspects of an individual’s life. In addition to criminal defense law, he has experience in the area of family law.

Mr. Thaler earned a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and received his law degree from the George Washington Law School. He acquired his license to practice law in 2010. He holds an active license in all Massachusetts state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
