A dedicated third-generation attorney, Marc A. Moccia handles state and federal civil litigation matters ranging from high-asset/high-conflict divorces to catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice cases to police misconduct cases at Kazarosian Costello LLP, a Haverhill, Massachusetts-based law practice.
Mr. Moccia earned a B.A. degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007, and received his J.D. with cum laude honors from Suffolk University Law School in 2011. A former president of the Haverhill Bar Association, Mr. Moccia is deeply involved in community and statewide bar leadership, particularly in the field of family law. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Family Law Section Council and Vice President of the Massachusetts Family and Probate American Inn of Courts. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Essex County Bar Association.

Recently, Mr. Moccia was instrumental in negotiating settlements on behalf of his clients in a case involving the death of a bicyclist who was struck by a tractor-trailer, for $4.5 million, and in a case involving a mason who fell from scaffolding, for $7 million. He obtained a judgment in 2022 in excess of $7.7 million on behalf of a client who was the victim of a hit and run collision and he has successfully litigated claims against local police departments, including one involving an on-duty officer who sexually assaulted an intoxicated woman.
Over his career spanning 10-plus years, Mr. Moccia has received recognition in the 2021 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of personal injury litigation – plaintiffs and family law and was listed as an Up & Coming Lawyers by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2020.
