Scott Semple

Scott Semple is an established construction litigation attorney, serving as a partner at Davagian Grillo & Semple LLP in Lexington, Massachusetts. With nearly 18 years of experience in trials and litigation, he advocates for clients in matters of business litigation, employment and labor laws, general litigation and government contracts across Massachusetts.

Identifying and mitigating risks are two of the main roles of Mr. Semple. He drafts contracts, reviews and revises them, and also coordinates with relevant parties to ensure compliance. Having successfully defended and resolved various employee class action suits and negotiated contracts, he understands that clients value communication, efficiency and clarity above all. He approaches every case with commitment and relentless focus on providing a favorable outcome.

While graduating with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Marist University, Mr. Semple engaged in the debate society and Pi Sigma Alpha. He also served as an intern at the Office of the New York State Attorney General. After graduation, he worked as a law clerk until he joined the Boston College Law School to hone his litigation skills. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2008 and gained licensure to practice law in Massachusetts the same year.

Additionally, Mr. Semple is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. His membership with the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law, the Government Affairs Committee of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Massachusetts, and the Construction Lawyers Society of America stands as a testament to his dedication to ethical and accessible justice.
