Dino M. Colucci is the founding partner and lead trial counsel at Colucci, Colucci & Marcus, P.C., where he focuses on personal injury litigation. He serves clients throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond. A graduate of Tufts University and Suffolk University Law School, he has built a distinguished career representing victims in cases ranging from nursing home negligence to complex injury claims since his admission to the Massachusetts bar in 1988, New Jersey in 1989 and Rhode Island in 2004.
For nearly 40 years, Mr. Colucci has secured remarkable outcomes for clients through settlements and trials. His achievements include negotiating the largest settlement in Massachusetts in 2024---$20,000,000 in a wrongful death action against a large, multi-national corporation; as well as innumerable multi-million dollar settlements in wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases. He's also enjoyed success in representing clients in similar matters such as construction accidents, medical malpractice matters and legal malpractice cases, most notably achieving a $1.1 million jury verdict against a negligent lawyer in a real estate case.
Mr. Colucci has represented notable clients including victims of the 2001 World Trade Center attack and those harmed by Whitey Bulger's criminal enterprise. For approximately the past 15 years, he has dedicated significant attention to advocating for elderly victims of nursing home negligence, becoming a recognized voice in this field. His insights have been sought by major publications like the Boston Globe and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.
Beyond litigation, Mr. Colucci has established himself as an effective mediator, helping parties resolve complex disputes. His reputation and skill in this area led to his appointment by the Superior Court to mediate a particularly challenging multiparty case that had remained unresolved and languishing in the court system for seven years. The case was fully and successfully resolved after Mr. Colucci's intervention.
Professional recognition for Mr. Colucci includes an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, recognition of the highest level of professional excellence as determined by his legal and judicial peers; regular inclusion in "The Best Lawyers in America"; "Best Lawyers of New England"; "Best of Boston" and "Massachusetts Super Lawyers."
