Jeffrey N. Catalano

Jeffrey N. Catalano is a personal injury attorney at the Keches Law Group, which has eight different office locations across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. After graduating with a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Scranton in 1990, Mr. Catalano served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps to help underprivileged children in Boston. He then enrolled at the Boston College Law School to pursue his legal studies. While there, he was the president of the Public Interest Law Foundation and the recipient of the Commencement and Achievement Award and the Alumni Association Scholarship. 

Earning his Juris Doctor in 1994, Mr. Catalano was admitted to practice in Massachusetts the same year. A zealous advocate of victims’ rights, he helps his clients ease the financial and emotional burdens they sustained as a result of negligent conduct by a third party. He has won several million-dollar settlements and verdicts over the course of his legal career, including $10 million for a medical malpractice case, which is the largest arbitration award ever won in Massachusetts.

Mr. Catalano strives to improve the civil litigation system to enhance safety measures in the health care industry and has spoken on medical-legal matters and patient rights throughout the country. He serves on the boards of Lawyers for the Civil Rights Corps and the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation. Furthermore, he plays an active role in the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys. 

The Boston Globe and The Wall Street Journal have listed Mr. Catalano as a Top Medical Malpractice Attorney, and he is named a Best Lawyer in America by U.S. News & World Report. Additionally, the Boston Magazine added him to their list of Top 100 Attorneys. He also holds a “Good” rating on Avvo and is a two-time winner of the President’s Award by the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
