Jonathan T. Macedo joined Keches Law Group in 2023 as an of counsel attorney. With almost 15 years of professional legal experience and licensed to practice in both Florida and Massachusetts, he provides legal assistance to clients facing issues related to group and individual disability, life and health insurance, employee benefits and end-of-life planning. Mr. Macedo's educational journey began at Boston University, where he graduated cum laude in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration, focusing on finance and business law. He then pursued his legal studies at the University of Miami School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2010. His academic background laid a solid foundation for his legal practice, which is marked by a commitment to serving those in need.

Inspired by his personal connection to disability advocacy, Mr. Macedo has been actively involved in community service. His mother's early disability due to diabetes instilled in him a strong desire to support the sick and disabled through his legal skills. After law school, he contributed to Miami Beach’s Disability Access Committee, ensuring Americans with Disabilities Act compliance. His dedication extends to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America (HDSA), where he has taken on various roles since returning to Massachusetts.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Macedo engages in educational activities, lecturing for the Massachusetts continuing legal education program and participating in events for the HDSA.
