Melina L. Munoz Turco

With over a decade of experience, Melina L. Munoz Turco has left an indelible mark in her legal community through her pristine, client-centric practice that emphasizes personalized attention, meticulous focus and enthusiastic zeal to seeing her clients free of their legal woes. The Director of Community Engagement at Turco Legal, P.C., in Newburyport, Massachusetts, she serves as a bridge between the firm and the broader community, focusing on philanthropic efforts to make legal information more accessible to the public.

Ms. Turco completed her undergraduate studies in 2009, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and social justice from Simmons University. She later went on to attend Boston College Law School as a public service scholar, emphasizing her education on public interest clinical work. During her time in law school, she was a student attorney with the Juvenile Rights Advocacy Clinic and the Immigration Clinic. After earning her law degree in 2015, she obtained her license to practice law in Massachusetts the same year.

From serving as a staff attorney at Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Trial Court to co-founding a mobile app to manage legal cases more efficiently, Ms. Turco’s drive to provide legal services with grace and poise overrides any obstacles that stand in the way of her doing so. For her many contributions, she was recognized in the Excellence in the Law: Up and Coming Lawyers list by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. 

Ms. Turco remains active within her legal community, maintaining memberships at the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts and the Greater Newburyport Bar Association. Furthermore, she serves on the Board of Directors at the Massachusetts Appleseed Center for Law and Justice.
