Kathryn J. Wickenheiser

Attorney Kathryn J. Wickenheiser is a partner with the Thomas & Wickenheiser, LLC, law firm, which has a main law office in Peabody, Massachusetts, and three other satellite offices in the region. A highly rated trial attorney with more than 16 years of legal experience, Ms. Wickenheiser devotes her practice to advocating on behalf of those who have suffered injuries or loss as the result of someone else's negligence.  She was recently named top 50 in Top Women in the Law for 2024 by Lawyers Weekly. 

Although she has significant experience handling all types of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death claims, Ms. Wickenheiser focuses her practice primarily on claims arising from medical malpractice and nursing home abuse as well as pharmaceutical liability and defective medical devices. Over the course of her career fighting for the rights and entitlements of those in need, she has secured numerous substantial settlements and verdicts on behalf of plaintiff clients across her area, including several multimillion-dollar awards.

In recognition for her outstanding professionalism and service, Ms. Wickenheiser has earned many top rankings from her peers. Of note, the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys voted her into the Top Ten Female Personal Injury Attorneys list in Massachusetts, and Boston Magazine selected her for inclusion into the “Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts” list. She has also received the 10 Best in Client Satisfaction Award from the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys along with her other accolades, and she has received many testimonials and referrals from her satisfied clients.

A graduate of St. Bonaventure University, Ms. Wickenheiser obtained her Juris Doctor from Southern New England School of Law in 2008. While there, she served as president, vice president and secretary of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity, and she received the St. Thomas More scholarship along with its “Voice for Ethics” award. She also received other awards and honors for her exceptional academic achievements.

Active in her legal community, Ms. Wickenheiser is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, USA500 and the Massachusetts Bar Association, among her other professional affiliations.
