Details
Licensed to practice law since 1995, John G. DiPiano has been serving the people of Massachusetts in the field of family law. He is a senior attorney at the Salem-based DiPiano Family Law Group P.C. and gives counsel to his clients and represents them on matters pertaining to divorce, custody, coparenting, prenuptial agreements and those related to minors.
Extending his support throughout the litigation process, Mr. DiPiano helps his clients through difficult transitions in life and gives special attention to minors and their priorities in a case. His compassionate approach helps people feel comfortable sharing their problems in detail, which in turn allows him to strategize better.
Even though Mr. DiPiano tries to dissolve issues out of court, he is not intimidated by trials and goes beyond what is expected to increase his clients’ chances of getting a favorable judgment. He is trained and experienced in mediation and makes his paid and pro bono services available through the Essex County Bar Association’s conciliation program.
Completing his undergraduate degree magna cum laude with a dual major in philosophy and English, and a concentration in law and justice, Mr. DiPiano graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 1988. Later, in 1995, he obtained his J.D. cum laude from the New England School of Law, where he was also an editor of the New England Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement. In the interim before entering law school, he worked as a claim adjuster and representative.
Mr. DiPiano served several firms before becoming the principal attorney at DiPiano Family Law Group P.C. Rated 10.0 on Avvo, he is also the assistant director of the National Association of Divorce Professionals. He is a valued member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association.
