The founding owner of SABRA LAW OFFICES, Attorney Steven P. Sabra divides his practice between workers' compensation matters and personal injury and wrongful death litigation, and he has previous criminal defense experience as well. From the firm's offices in Somerset, he provides representation to clients throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts since 1977, Mr. Sabra is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and before the Supreme Court of the United States.
In his personal injury practice, Mr. Sabra assists people who have incurred economic and noneconomic losses due to the negligence of other parties. The types of cases that he has worked on have included truck and other motor vehicle crashes, train accidents, premises liability, defective products, construction site accidents, and nursing home abuse and negligence. During his career, Mr. Sabra has been able to obtain significant compensation for his clients through both jury awards and settlements, which he has negotiated out of courts.
Mr. Sabra also represents clients who have been injured on the job and who are seeking their rightful benefits under their employers' workers' compensation insurance coverage. He assists them with the preparation of the required claim, helping to ensure that it contains all necessary information, and it is filed in a timely manner, and he advocates on their behalf in the event if it is disputed or denied. Mr. Sabra's successful track record in all of his professional endeavors has earned him a great deal of recognition from his colleagues, including an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. In addition, he has been named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. Mr. Sabra is a 1976 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law.
