Wyckoff Nissenbaum

Wyckoff Nissenbaum operates his own law firm in Somerville, Massachusetts. As a sole practitioner, Mr. Nissenbaum focuses on a comprehensive range of family law matters, including divorce, child support, child custody, paternity disputes, spousal support, modifications, adoptions and matters relating to the guardianship of minors. A compassionate and energetic attorney who relishes helping families of all income levels in Somerville and surrounding communities to find creative solutions for difficult legal situations, he has successfully represented clients in complex international and interstate removal actions and custody disputes.

Mr. Nissenbaum received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut before pursuing his law degree at the Suffolk University Law School, graduating with dean's list honors and as a participant in the school's pro bono program. Prior to founding his own firm, Mr. Nissenbaum worked at the Suffolk University School of Law Family Advocacy Clinic, interned at the Middlesex Probate and Family Court and was employed at several prominent area law firms in multiple capacities. He is admitted to practice law before the state courts of Massachusetts.

Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Nissenbaum enjoys contributing to his community and his profession. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the American Bar Association's Section of Family Law. He lends his diverse talents to various engagements in the community as a representative payee for Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services and as a tax preparer for the Boston Earned Income Tax Credit Coalition. Mr. Nissenbaum also participates in Kadima of the Boston chapter of Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and he referees adult and youth soccer as a member of USSF and NISOA.
