Jonathan R. Goldsmith

As an attorney with Goldsmith, Katz & Argenio, P.C., Jonathan R. Goldsmith handles business bankruptcy, real estate law and closely held business. Mr. Goldsmith represents clients in Massachusetts and has over 25 years of experience with a practice focused on real estate and corporate law. The first to receive the Pro Bono Award for Western Massachusetts for the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts, he has also been named a Top 100 Attorney by Boston Magazine and been recognized for his professional achievement.

In 1983, Mr. Goldsmith graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science. At Western New England University School of Law, he then obtained his Juris Doctor. In 2005, Mr. Goldsmith became a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee. He uses his experience and knowledge and serves as a lecturer and panelist on a variety of bankruptcy-related and bankruptcy programs.

Mr. Goldsmith is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and a current member and former chair of the Hampden County Bar Association. The American Board of Certification bestowed on him the title of Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy Law in 2003. Passionate about being active in his profession and engaging with other legal professionals, Mr. Goldsmith is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
