Kevin Dolan

Serving clients at Cushing & Dolan, P.C., in Waltham, Massachusetts, Kevin Dolan focuses his practice on real estate law. Handling matters involving both commercial and residential real estate, he represents clients in landlord-tenant disputes and conveyancing, and also manages zoning and municipal representation. With over four decades of experience in the legal profession, he brings seasoned judgment and stability to every client's real estate matter.

Mr. Dolan’s practice spans residential and commercial matters, guiding buyers, sellers, lenders and developers through purchase agreements, leases and breach of contract disputes. He also handles complex transactions, including zoning and permitting, asset-based and construction lending, and construction management, offering comprehensive counsel from deal structuring through project completion.

Upon graduating from Merrimack College in 1985, Mr. Dolan went on to pursue his law degree at Suffolk University Law School. Earning his Juris Doctor in 1985, he gained licensure to practice law in Massachusetts in the same year. Additionally admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and he passionately advocates for his clients in both state and federal courts. He understands that real estate trials can be costly and stressful, and he communicates effectively to ease the process for them.

In the legal community, Mr. Dolan previously served as the vice chairman and chairman of the Stoneham Planning Board. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Federation of Planning Boards, the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association and the Massachusetts Area Planning Council, receiving insider knowledge of regional zoning, housing policies and planning trends. He was awarded the Gold Medal for Best in Boston Commercial Real Estate Category by the Banker & Tradesman Reader's Poll. Additionally, he received a Distinguished* peer-review rating through Martindale-Hubbell for upholding high ethical standards.
