Details
Marisa A. McCaul is a founding partner at Hale & McCaul Law, where she currently focuses on practicing law in real estate law and corporate law including estates and probate. She has an experience of over seven years in the legal arena and extends her practice to serving clients in areas not restricted to the city of Waltham, Massachusetts.
Ms. McCaul, who is originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts, obtained her bachelor’s degree majoring in criminal justice and a minor in psychology from Northeastern University in 2011. She obtained a certificate in paralegal studies from the Middlesex Community College in Bedford, Massachusetts, and went on to complete her Juris Doctor from the Suffolk University School of Law in 2015.
Even before embarking on her legal career, Ms. McCaul served as an administrative assistant at various offices, where she researched and organized files as per requirements. Her tenure as a law clerk taught her valuable lessons of discipline while learning to draft documents, file motions and prepare correspondence with clients and opposing counsels.
Throughout her journey, Ms. McCaul has performed many different roles at different firms across Massachusetts. She also had exposure to many different areas of law such as estate planning, corporate law, family law and civil litigation, before finding her true passion in real estate law.Â
Ms. McCaul has in-depth knowledge of the residential real estate process in the state, from start to finish. She represents clients in the purchase and sale of residential, commercial and investment properties. She sticks with them throughout the process from drafting deeds, negotiating agreements and ensuring clear titles to attending to post-closing matters. She firmly believes that the joy in the eyes of her clients who are about to own their first home, land or business, encourages her to commit her best efforts to her job regularly.
