Mona Zafar

Attorney Mona Zafar is the founder of Zafar Khan Law LLC, located in Waltham, Massachusetts. Her practice focuses on family law, immigration, personal injury, employment discrimination and defense work, serving clients primarily in Middlesex County. She is a graduate of New England Law | Boston, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2016. Before establishing her firm in 2021, she gained experience working at a national law firm, representing a diverse array of clients.

Throughout her career, Ms. Zafar has been dedicated to providing quality legal representation and advocating passionately for her clients' rights. Her legal acumen has led to successful outcomes across various cases. By founding Zafar Khan Law LLC, she aimed to deliver personalized legal services to individuals and families throughout Massachusetts.

Ms. Zafar is an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the South Asian Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. She frequently participates in panel discussions and conferences, reflecting her commitment to the legal community. 

In addition to her legal education, Ms. Zafar holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Massachusetts Boston, obtained in 2012. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi, which helps her serve a diverse clientele. Among her accolades, she was awarded first place in the ABA Client Counseling Competition in 2015 and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Mediation in 2016. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Through her work, she continues to be a trusted adviser for her clients, maintaining the highest standards of legal representation.
