Paula E. Berg

Paula E. Berg is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Paula E. Berg in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, where she has provided compassionate and highly skilled family law representation since 1994. Admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1995, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of domestic relations. Her practice focuses exclusively on family law matters, including:

Ms. Berg also advocates for clients in contempt proceedings and modification hearings, striving to achieve resolutions that honor each client’s rights and preserve family well-being. A magna cum laude graduate of Connecticut College in 1987, she earned the Psychology Department Prize for top academic achievement and pursued graduate coursework in psychology during her senior year. 

After college, Ms. Berg served as director of the Dorchester Youth Collaborative’s Urban Mediation Project, earning her Attorney General’s Office certification in mediation in 1988. These early experiences honed her negotiation skills and reinforced her belief in collaborative dispute resolution whenever possible.

Ms. Berg continued her legal education at Cornell Law School, earning her J.D. in 1994. She began her career as an associate in both a Boston boutique firm and later a major Boston practice, concentrating on domestic relations and refining her courtroom advocacy.

Recognized by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (NAFLA) among its Top 10 Lawyers in both 2023 and 2024, Ms. Berg is an active member of the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and the Greater Boston Family Law American Inns of Court. As a DCF-licensed foster parent and “hotline” resource for children in crisis, she brings a child-rights perspective to every case, championing adoption and ensuring no child languishes without a loving home.
