David P. Russman

David P. Russman is the founder of Russman Law, and he is a highly regarded trial attorney. His firm is situated in Wenham, Massachusetts, and his client base comes from Middlesex and Essex counties, and other parts of the greater Boston metropolitan area. Mr. Russman attended Tufts University as an undergraduate and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1990. He then pursued his legal education at Suffolk Law School, where he served on the Suffolk University Law Review before graduating with his Juris Doctor in 1994.

A sizable portion of Mr. Russman’s practice consists of personal injury litigation, in which he advocates on behalf of people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. His cases have included medical and legal malpractice, motor vehicle crashes, defective products, and premises liability, and he has been successful in obtaining jury awards and negotiated settlements that have yielded substantial compensation for those clients.

Other types of civil litigation cases that Mr. Russman has handled have involved construction defects, contract breaches, disputes among partners and shareholders, and divorce and other domestic relations matters. He has a criminal defense practice as well, in which he helps people who are facing state misdemeanor or felony charges.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Russman spent two years as a clerk for a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and was then an in-house attorney for a public relations firm before entering private practice. He subsequently founded Russman Law in 2004. Mr. Russman is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
