He had previously graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and Soviet studies from the Eastern Michigan University in 1994. Mr. Dubin is also allowed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

He has won a multimillion-dollar settlement for victims of flooding in one of the largest class actions in Michigan. He has also helped clients affected by flooding across the states of Missouri, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois.
With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Dubin has honed his strategic negotiation tactics in the courtroom. - Mr. Dubin filed several class actions arising from the June 25-26, 2021 flood event in Detroit, Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Farms, Grosse Pointe Park, Grosse Pointe Shores, Grosse Pointe Woods, and Harper Woods where over 7,000 homes suffered flooding, 2021
- On June 25-26, 2021, homes throughout the City of Hamtramck suffered basement flooding. Shortly after filing the class action complaint, Mr. Dubin was able to utilize his litigation experience to negotiate a class settlement that provided significant compensation and longer-term relief to the residents. The settlement created a $1 Million fund to compensate flood victims and required the City to construct a Remedial Sewer Project that is estimated to cost $40 Million. The Remedial Sewer Project is designed to reduce the likelihood of future flooding in the City., 2023
- On August 11, 2014, thousands of homes and businesses flooded throughout ten cities in Oakland County. Mr. Dubin’s experience allowed him to navigate the complex issues of hydraulics and hydrology present in that case. As a result of his efforts, Mr. Dubin was able to resolve the case for $11.5 million in compensation to flood victims and $1.5 million in improvements to the local sewer system, 2021
