Subsequently, he enrolled at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, where he distinguished himself as an assistant editor of the Wayne Law Review and earned his J.D. in 1995.

Post-graduation, Mr. Kline was an associate at a prominent Ann Arbor law firm before establishing his own practice in 2001. Licensed to practice in all Michigan state courts, he advocates before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

An active associate of the legal community, Mr. Kline serves as a Director at Large for the Washtenaw County Bar Association. Furthermore, he is a sustaining member of the Michigan Association for Justice.
