Lisa Taylor is the founder of Taylor-Made Solutions, PLLC, in Bingham Farms, Michigan, serving individuals and families statewide. Devoting her practice exclusively to domestic relations and dispute resolution, she guides clients through divorce, custody matters, parenting time arrangements and asset division. Combining compassionate counsel with seasoned legal advocacy, she helps clients navigate sensitive transitions while protecting parental rights, financial security and the well-being of children across Michigan.
Ms. Taylor prioritizes mediation because it empowers parties to craft personalized, durable agreements outside contentious courtrooms. Viewing legal disputes through a problem-solving lens, she creates a structured, confidential space where opposing sides can communicate productively. By minimizing courtroom conflict, her collaborative approach reduces emotional trauma, preserves vital co-parenting relationships and significantly curtails litigation expenses, allowing families to move forward with autonomy, dignity and practical long-term solutions.
Earning her undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Ms. Taylore built a strong foundation in financial analysis before pursuing legal studies. She then attended the University of Michigan Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor in 1988. Admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1989, she has applied over three decades of comprehensive legal and economic knowledge to effectively guide clients through complex family law matters.
Having previously served as secretary of the State Bar of Michigan’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council for five years, Ms. Taylor currently chairs its Legislation and Court Procedures Action Team. Recognized for her dedicated leadership, she received the section’s George N. Bashara Jr. Award and the prestigious Hero of ADR Award. Additionally, the Michigan Judicial Council and Supreme Court Administrative Office appointed her to key statewide committees shaping collaborative law and court procedures.
