Katherine A. Krysak Frampton

Katherine A. Krysak Frampton is a seasoned family law attorney and partner at the Birmingham, Michigan-based law firm Rubin Frampton. Over the past few years, she has handled legal concerns for clients that are some of the most emotionally exhausting and challenging, related to divorce, child custody and support issues, parenting time disputes, paternity, change of residence, child and spousal support modifications, and stepparent adoptions. She has helped clients across Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Livingston and Washtenaw.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science cum laude from the Albion College in 2008, Ms. Frampton received her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (2011), where she functioned as an associate of the Dean’s Tutorial Society and the vice president of the Women’s Law Caucus. She was admitted to practice in Michigan in 2011.

Ms. Frampton is also an affiliate of the State Bar of Michigan – Family Law Section, the Oakland County Bar Association, the Women’s Lawyer’s Association of Michigan and the Michigan Inter-Professional Association on Marriage, Divorce, and the Family (MIPA). Currently, she also serves as the chair-elect of the Young Lawyers Section of the Macomb County Bar Association. 

As part of her community service, Ms. Frampton offers free legal advice to women at the Women’s Resource Center at Schoolcraft College in Livonia. Additionally, she has provided pro bono services to low-income clients in several cases. 

Over her career, Ms. Frampton has received recognition from Lawyers of Distinction for her outstanding performance in family and divorce law. Her other accolades include being bestowed with the A&P's Top 10 Family Law Attorney Award by the Attorney and Practice Magazine in 2019 and listed in the Top 10 Attorneys Under 40 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (2018).
