Kenneth F. Neuman is the founder of Altior Law, specializing in complex commercial litigation and business consulting, with a focus on corporate, real estate/construction, automotive, contract disputes and accounting malpractice. Mr. Neuman has more than 36 years of experience in the courtroom and has obtained multiple verdicts and arbitration awards in excess of $10 million. Mr. Neuman has also successfully defended numerous claims brought against tier one and tier two automotive suppliers, builders and developers, and businesses of all types on a variety of commercial claims. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Neuman is a registered Certified Public Accountant and has a keen understanding of financial and business valuation, tax and accounting issues. Based on his experience, continues to be selected by numerous parties, and their counsel, as an arbitrator and/or facilitator on a variety of commercial disputes involving complex business and accounting issues. Mr. Neuman was also named a Best Lawyer, is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and as an Oakland County and Wayne Case Evaluation panelist. In addition, Mr. Neuman currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Oakland County Bar Association and serves as the Chair of the Board of Visitors for Wayne State Law School, and is also a Director of the Western Golf Association-Evans Scholar Foundation (which provides full academic scholarships to deserving young people).

- Ken successfully defending a spurious suit brought by wealthy homeowners against their interior designer for breach of contract. After an 8 day jury trial, the jury awarded the homeowners a paultry $61,000 on their "million dollar" claim and awarded Ken's client approximately $750,000 on his counter-claim., 2011
- Ken successfully negotiated an $8M settlement for his client, a minority shareholder, in a shareholder oppression case filed in Western Michigan. The client received the settlement proceeds within 90 days from the date of the filing of the complaint., 2021
- Ken successfully retried in a jury trial in 2021 after the first jury's verdict was set aside based on proofs that established the plaintiff had committed a fraud on the court. The retried case, which took 5 days, resulted in a declaratory ruling in my client's favor, worth in excess of $20M, plus an award of damages in excess of $700K. , 2021
- Ken recently won a $2.8 Million arbitration award in a commmercial case involving claims for fraud in the inducement and breach of contract arising out of the sale of a manufacturing business. After 13 days of testimony, the Arbitrator, who is a former President of the State Bar of Michigan, found that the Respondents were liable for making material misrepresentations as to the true financial condition of the selling entities. The arbitration award has been converted to a judgment.

- Ken and his wife Lisa are very active in volunteer work with a number of organizations in town providing social services to seniors and the underprivileged. They also donate substantial time to their son's school. In addition, Ken recently led a trip of Black Christian Conservatives and Metropolitan Detroit Jewish leaders from Detroit to the State of Israel at to promote interfaith relations in Detroit and to garner addtitional support for the State of Israel. Currently, Ken volunteers his expertise by serving on the Board of Directors for 3 different non-profit organizations.
- Ken was recently honored by the BIA for his outstanding contributions to the membership of the BIA. He has drafted master contracts and subcontracts that have become the standard in Michigan for residential construction.
