Keri Middleditch Wigod

The principal attorney at Middleditch Law Firm, PLLC, Keri Middleditch focuses her practice exclusively on family law matters. Located in Birmingham, Michigan, her clients come from the greater Detroit metropolitan area. She concentrates largely on matrimonial law, assisting people whose marriages are coming to an end and who are struggling with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex assets and debts, child custody and visitation, and alimony and child support. Ms. Middleditch is frequently appointed as a guardian ad litem for minor children whose parents are involved in child custody disputes, and she has served as a parenting coordinator.

Other types of family law matters that Ms. Middleditch has experience in include the preparation and review of prenuptial, separation, and postnuptial agreements, adoptions, same-sex parenting time agreements, and grandparents' rights. Ms. Middleditch received a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University in 1998. Remaining in East Lansing, she pursued her legal education at the Michigan State University College of Law, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor cum laude in 2001. After graduation, Ms. Middleditch spent nearly seven years as an attorney with several divisions of the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office before entering private practice in July 2008. She formed her own firm in July 2017.

Ms. Middleditch is frequently asked to speak at continuing legal education seminars on family law topics. Admitted to practice before all Michigan state courts, she is a fellow of the Oakland County Bar Association.
