Most recently, she and her partners recovered over $39 million in past and future pension benefits in a class action on behalf of a group of disabled persons whose disability retirement benefits were drastically and unlawfully reduced. 

Ms. Cantarella began her legal career in 1994 after obtaining her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit and her license to practice from the State Bar of Michigan. In addition to practicing before the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan, she can legally practice before the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Supreme Court and most U.S. Courts of Appeals.
