As a shareholder of the Detroit-based multidisciplinary firm Hertz Schram PC, Kenneth F. Silver heads up the firm's real estate and probate administration practice groups from its office in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This role entails assisting clients with real estate purchase and sales, developments, syndications, zoning disputes and other issues that arise during the process. In addition, Mr. Silver assists clients with contesting wills or trust agreements. For more than 30 years, he has prided himself on providing outstanding assistance to his broad base of clients that has included Jackson National Life Insurance, The Huntington Bank and Broder & Sachse Real Estate Services, Inc.

For the past several years, Mr. Silver has also become very involved in the local entrepreneurial community.  He leads the Hertz Schram Deal Incubator which is an open business forum seeking to bring entreprenuers together with investors and financiers.

In 1979, Mr. Silver graduated from the University of Michigan with high distinction. He then went on to receive his law degree from the Wayne State University Law School in 1983. Mr. Silver later taught as an adjunct law professor at his alma mater. He continues to lecture frequently on issues related to real estate and probate law before the National Business Institute and the Institute for Continuing Education.

In addition to being an astute real estate and probate litigator, Mr. Silver works as a mediator and arbitrator. He is a former board member of the Building Industry Association of Southeastern Michigan. Mr. Silver has also been recognized as one of the best real estate lawyers in the Detroit area since 2009 by Dbusiness Magazine. His hard work and dedication have also been recognized by his peers, who awarded him Martindale-Hubbell's highest peer review rating of AV-Preeminent*.

Mr. Silver assists clients in Detroit and throughout the surrounding areas. He is licensed to practice law before the state courts of Michigan, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western districts of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.
