Brian received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and graduated with High Honors in May 1996, where he made the Dean's List each semester. Brian is admitted to practice in all of the Michigan State Courts, Federal Courts - United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Federal Claims. Brian started his legal career representing large American automobile companies in serious injury product liability cases. Brian then devoted his career to representing injured clients and their families. Brian has trial experience in Medical malpractice/wrongful death, products liability, automobile negligence and complex negligence cases. Brian also has experience in automobile negligence arbitrations and recent accomplishments include winning in the Court of Appeals on an issue involving “Open and Obvious” which is very rare in our current legal climate.   • --$875,000 settlement - A dangerous condition on property case.  A large apartment complex knew of a dangerous defect in a walk way and decided not fix the condition.  Our injured client suffered a  severe fracture of her ankle requiring surgery and resulting in a lifetime of ankle problems. --$775,000 arbitration award - Automobile accident case.  The defendant insurance company refused to provide the contracted for insurance benefits.  Our injured client suffered a shoulder injury requiring multiple surgeries and life long shoulder problems. -- $200,000 Settlement - Automobile accident case.   The defendant while looking for his cell phone crashed into the back of another driver's car.   Our injured client suffered a herniated disc in her back with pain and numbness running down her leg and wrist injury., 2007
