James L. Spagnuolo, Jr.

Jim opened the Macomb Law Group in September 2017, after leaving his partnership over the past 3 years at Bone, Bourbeau, Lizza & Spagnuolo.  Prior to that he spent 14 years working for Freedman, Herskovic & Spagnuolo and its predecessor firms.  Jim focuses on trucking and automobile negligence cases. Representing both first party and third-party cases, he works nationally to secure benefits that his clients are entitled to under the Michigan No-Fault Act, even if they still do not live in Michigan. His practice is located in Clinton Township, Michigan.

Jim has a special interest in nationally pursuing bad faith/institutional fraud claims against insurance companies for their fraudulent business practices in wrongfully denying claims. He also handles wrongful death, products liability, dog bite, general negligence and premises liability claims.

A graduate of Wayne State University School of Law, Jim is a member of the Michigan State Bar, Macomb County Bar Association, American Association for Justice and Michigan Association for Justice. He is also a member of Families Exploring Down Syndrome, Brain Injury Association of Michigan and is a life member of the Disabled American Veterans since being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps.
