Focusing his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice and tort litigation. Mr. Tirella has handled the following cases: motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, slips and falls, premises liability, negligent security, medication errors, surgery and all types of medical malpractice cases in the past 30 years. He is board-certified in civil trial and civil pretrial practice by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
He attend Cumberland School of Law, Samford University graduating in 1989 with a Juris Doctor.
Having more than 30 years of experience, Mr. Tirella has helped numerous clients favorable resolve a range of complex civil litigation issues, recovering over $200 million in awards and settlements on their behalf. Some notable cases include aiding in obtaining a $3 million jury verdict in a medical malpractice case resulting in the death of a patient, involved in recovering a settlement of approximately $24 million in a wrongful death case involving a crash that caused several deaths, and a many multi million dollar settlements.
Actively involved in the legal community, Mr. Tirella is a member of several professional organizations, including the Michigan Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He has shared legal opinions that have appeared on television programing, including “20/20” and in publications such as the USA TODAY, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times Company. In 2018, selected into the 100 Top Plaintiff Attorneys in Michigan and Whos' Who in America.
