Attorney Profile

I've been practicig law in the State of Michigan for almost 30 years. I have won verdicts in Federal and State courts. In the case of Pucci v. Somers, USDC Judge David Lawson enhanced my attorney fee request because I sued a state district court judge and obtained an excellent result. I also obtained a federal verdict on a same sex sexual-harassment case in the amount of 450,000. I believe this is the first such verdict on a same-sex sexual harassment obained in the State of Michigan, if not the country. I also obtained a 1.25 million verdict in Oakland County on a slip and fall which (I believe), at the time, was the largest slip ad fall verdict ever received in Oakland County Circuit Court.

I have undertaken representation of several cases with great importance to the the public. I have been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the top 100 trial attorneys in the US.

  • Plaintiff sustained a mild traumatic brain injury as a result of a collisions with a police car. At the time of the collision, Plaintiff was working full-time as a manager at a Costco. After the collision, Plaintiff was unable to return to work. Among other things, Plaintiff was unable to think as he had before, his memory failed, he felt dizzy, emotional and his body hurt. His no-fault insurance carrier sent him to an IME where the neurologist agreed that he had suffered a brain injury. The no-fault insurance company did not like that. They sent Plaintiff to another "expert" who found he was fine. The insurance company stopped all no-fault benefits, including wage-loss, medical reimbursement, household replacement services and attendant care. We sued, went to trial and the jury awarded us $254,212.01--the amount to the penny we asked for. The trial court also awarded us attorney fees and costs of over $278,000., 2015
