Attorney Todd Flood is the managing partner of Flood Law in Detroit, Michigan. An accomplished trial attorney with more than 24 years of legal experience, Mr. Flood provides unmatched representation and support to clients across the state who have legal needs involving any of the following:

A former Wayne County assistant prosecutor, Mr. Flood has a unique insight into the state's criminal justice system. He was promoted as principal attorney of the office's Drug House Unit and he has prosecuted hundreds of serious and complex criminal matters involving a wide range of offenses and gained invaluable trial experience that serves him to this day.
Upon leaving the prosecutor’s office, Mr. Flood worked for a prominent litigation firm in the area, where he focused on complex civil litigation claims involving catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death as well as civil rights violations, whistleblower defense and more. Through his criminal defense practice, he has tried hundreds of cases involving RICO prosecutions, homicides and other serious felonies, and he has defended the rights and interests of corporations and individuals facing government investigations.
While actively involved in his private practice, Mr. Flood continues to prosecute cases as special assistant attorney general in Oakland County. He has investigated and prosecuted matters involving a host of entities, including pharmaceutical companies, universities, local municipalities, hospitals and more.
Honored for his outstanding professionalism and service, Mr. Flood was named among the Top Ten Lawyers in Michigan by the National Lawyers Association, and Crain's Detroit Business named him among the area's Top Lawyers in 2020. He is also listed among the Top Ten Lawyers of the Year in the state by the Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Furthermore, he has several endorsements from his peers along with a “Superb” rating on Avvo.
A graduate of Lake Superior State University, Mr. Flood obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Toledo College of Law in 1997. He is a fellow with the Michigan State Bar Foundation and the Oakland County Bar Association and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

- Won as lead attorney in a landmark case, People v Balogh. The case revolved around two brothers who were charged with Felony Murder. The Case was won at the district court level and the State appealed and lost at the Circuit court. The State appealed again to the Michigan Court of Appeals and they reversed the Circuit Court. We appealed to the Michigan Supreme Court and Won. This underlying facts of this case deal with the issue of how you want to live and the right to life, 2020
