Tiffany DeBruin

The sole practitioner at the firm DeBruin Law, PLLC, in East Lansing, Michigan, Tiffany DeBruin is an attorney representing the residents across Lower Michigan and focuses her practice majorly on criminal defense matters such as, DUI, drug crimes, traffic violations, driver's license restoration, assaultive crimes, fraud, and at times family law and estate planning as well. She holds a license to practice law in the states of Michigan and Ohio. 

After Ms. DeBruin graduated from Malone University in Canton with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, she attended Capital University Law School. She was included on the dean’s list for excelling in her studies. Later in 2006, she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the university. 

After graduating from law school, Ms. DeBruin started her career as an attorney at legal aide.  A year later she switched gears and came on as a staff attorney with Franklin County Children Services. A very compassionate attorney, she loves to be the voice for the people who have difficulty in hiring and affording an attorney. 

Ms. DeBruin’s primary interest lies in criminal defense, and she understands how crucial it is to fight tenaciously and tirelessly to prove the innocence of the accused. Her previous clients describe her as an extremely friendly attorney who goes out of her way to ensure that her clients are protected. In addition to serving her clients zealously, Ms. DeBruin actively involves herself in the Michigan Association of OWI Attorneys and serves as a training faculty at the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan association. 

Formerly, Ms. DeBruin served as the vice president and president of the Clinton County Bar Association. She is now a member of the Ingham County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was formerly a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Criminal Jurisprudence & Practice Committee.
