Alex Berman

Alex Berman is the founding member of Michigan Workers Comp Lawyers, based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he provides dedicated legal help to employees facing issues with workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability matters. He is widely regarded as a respected advocate and influential leader in the field of workers’ compensation law.

Mr. Berman focuses his practice on advocating for injured workers and disabled individuals, helping them secure the benefits and protections. His work reflects a deep understanding of the workers’ compensation system, strategic litigation skills and a steadfast commitment to protecting the rights of his clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

A consummate professional, Mr. Berman is a recipient of the Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame Award, an honor recognizing attorneys for their leadership and lasting influence in the field. He also served as president of the Workers’ Compensation Trial Lawyers Association, highlighting both his professional skills and the respect he has from his peers.

Mr. Berman graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in 1968. He later went on to attend the Wayne State University Law School, where he laid the foundation for his legal career and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1971. In that same year, he gained admission to practice law in Michigan.

Over the years, Mr. Berman expanded his practice to include federal courts, gaining admission to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. He also maintains active membership in the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Association for Justice.
