Drew Ruby

Drew Ruby is a personal injury attorney at Ruby Injury Law in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he represents individuals and families who have suffered serious harm due to negligence. His practice focuses primarily on automobile accident cases and other injury-related claims. Graduating in the top 16% of his class, Mr. Ruby earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. During law school, he received several academic honors, including dean’s list recognition and multiple book awards in courses such as criminal procedure, juvenile appellate clinic, litigation technology and health law. He also received the Dean’s Scholarship, the Presidential Scholarship and the Ralph E. McDowell and Nancy A. Glen Scholarship. Prior to law school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts in film, video and media studies at Western Michigan University, where he graduated as a School of Communication Honors Graduate.

Mr. Ruby is actively involved in several professional legal organizations. He serves as an executive board member of the Michigan Association for Justice and has been a member of the organization since 2018. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice, the Detroit Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association and the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. In addition, he participates in the American Inns of Court, Detroit Mercy Law Chapter, where he serves as a barrister.

Mr. Ruby’s work in personal injury law has earned him professional recognition, including the Detroit Bar Association Barristers’ “One to Watch” Award in 2023. He is also a frequent speaker on legal topics and has presented at the Institute of Continuing Legal Education No-Fault Summit, where he has shared his insights with attorneys, judges and insurance professionals.
