Kendall B. Williams

Focusing his practice primarily on labor and employment law but with a strong background in other types of civil litigation, Kendall B. Williams is the founder of The Williams Firm. Located in Grand Blanc, Michigan, he represents clients throughout the greater Detroit metropolitan area. Mr. Williams has been admitted to practice in Michigan since 1977, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

Mr. Williams's labor and employment law practice is confined to his representation of companies. He has defended claims of workplace discrimination that are governed by various federal and state laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Mr. Williams also has extensive experience in handling alleged wage and hour violations arising under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, and he has handled cases involving claims of wrongful termination and other types of retaliation. He has appeared on behalf of his company clients before numerous federal and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Michigan Employment Relations Commission.

Mr. Williams has additionally worked on collective bargaining matters, and he has appeared before the National Labor Relations Board on those types of issues, as well as in regard to allegations of unfair labor practices and the election of union representatives. His excellent track record in all of these endeavors has earned him a great amount of favorable recognition from his fellow attorneys, including an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell. A graduate of Michigan State University, Mr. Williams received his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 1977.
