Brandon M. Hewitt

Brandon Hewitt is an attorney and the Chief Operating Officer at Michigan Auto Law in Grand Rapids, Michigan. His top priority is making the legal process as simple and straightforward as possible for injury victims. With a determination to compassionately serve his clients and treat them as he would his own family, he focuses on personal injury law, working with people injured in car, truck and motorcycle accidents, among others.

Brandon began his career with Michigan Auto Law as a law clerk in 2005 and he has extensive experience working at every level within the firm.

Brandon is an accomplished trial attorney. He fights tirelessly to secure the compensation his clients deserve and to hold the at-fault party accountable. Brandon holds the record for the largest pain and suffering jury verdict in Ottawa County history. The jury awarded his client $520,000, which is 10 times more than what the defendant offered prior to the trial. Brandon’s recent victories include a $5.25 million truck accident settlement and a $1 million settlement just before trial on a $0 offer - after the case had been rejected by 4 other law firms.

Brandon plays an important role in the legal community through organizations such as the State Bar of Michigan, The State Bar of California, the American Association for Justice and the Center for Progressive Leadership. He is part of the executive board of the Michigan Association for Justice and co-chairs the organization’s Autonomous Vehicles Committee.
