Fillipe Iorio

Fillipe Iorio is a partner at the law firm of Kalniz, Iorio & Reardon Co. L.P.A. located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With over 23 years of experience in the legal field, he concentrates his practice on matters involving employment and labor law such as wrongful terminations, severance agreements and noncompete clauses, and union-side labor law. 

Mr. Iorio also takes on cases related to civil rights and personal injury. His clients include educators, working persons, criminal defendants, the injured and disabled, and labor organizations. He has immense experience helping people in the workplace who have been treated unfairly and serves as a zealous advocate for their rights and liberties.

With a major in economics, Mr. Iorio graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College in Massachusetts. He went on to study law at the University of Michigan Law School in Michigan and graduated cum laude, earning his Juris Doctor in 1996. He started out his career by serving in a Chicago firm, where he represented Fortune 500 companies with antitrust litigation cases. 

Affiliated with the field of law, Mr. Iorio has active memberships in the State Bar of Michigan, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Michigan and before the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
