Heath M. Lynch

A criminal trial attorney at Springstead Bartish Borgula & Lynch, PLLC, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Heath M. He has defended and prosecuted hundreds of criminal and civil cases over the course of his career. 

Mr. Lynch’s legal prowess, grit and drive enable him to represent individuals and businesses in criminal prosecutions and grand jury investigations before the state and federal agencies. He is skilled at strategizing after analyzing and determining the intricacies of any legal situation and how the prosecution will deal with the evidence. Prior to trial, he pursues several avenues of defense and assists clients in considering the advantages and disadvantages of each potential solution.

Licensed to practice in Michigan, Mr. Lynch stays connected with other legal professionals through organizations such as the National College for DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Western District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from Taylor University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, magna cum laude.

Initially, Mr. Lynch represented financial services and insurance clients in commercial litigation at a Philadelphia-based law firm. Later, he became an assistant attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Michigan, where he led and supervised federal, state and local law enforcement teams engaged in the investigation and prosecution of complex drug trafficking and money laundering cases.

Mr. Lynch has been listed on America’s Top 100 Attorneys list and The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100. In addition to holding a “Superb” rating on Avvo, he has been recognized for his exceptional prosecutive skills and his outstanding service to the Western District of Michigan by the U.S. Department of Justice.
