Before entering the legal field, Ms. Ortega worked with the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, where she developed deep empathy and a knack for guiding families through complex administrative systems. Through her early career, she gained extensive familiarity with Child Protective Services (CPS), including its resources, methods, and investigative priorities. This background allows her to effectively mitigate cases that include CPS investigations, abuse or neglect allegations or sensitive family law challenges.
