Scott W. Kraemer

Scott W. Kraemer is a shareholder at Kuiper Kraemer PC in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Mr. Kraemer represents businesses, brokers, salespersons, and consumers in real estate matters in state and federal courts throughout Michigan, Florida, and in other federal districts. He is proud to protect the interests of decedents, trustees, and beneficiaries in will and trust litigation. While Mr. Kraemer specializes in complex civil and probate litigation, he proactively advises all varieties of real estate businesses how to protect their interests and avoid litigation. 

Actively affiliated with the legal community, Mr. Kraemer is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He has served on the American Inns of Court on the board of directors for multiple non-profit organizations, including the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts, Spoke Folks, and St. Cecilia Music Center. 

Mr. Kraemer is admitted to practice in the states of Michigan and Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. 

Before pursuing law, Mr. Kraemer was a professional jazz guitarist, composer and bandleader. Mr. Kraemer has been named to the list of “Top 40 under 40” every year since 2013 by The National Trial Lawyers for his exceptional legal work.  

Mr. Kraemer has a Bachelor of Music in jazz studies from the Wayne State University. Graduating magna cum laude, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Michigan State University College of Law.
