Jason N. Machnik

Attorney Jason N. Machnik is co-founder and partner of the Herbert Machnik Law Firm in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A highly versatile attorney with more than nine years of legal experience, Mr. Machnik represents the rights and interests of a diverse range of clients throughout Southern Michigan who have legal needs involving any of the following practice areas:

Mr. Machnik earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and spent years working in the corporate world in the areas of marketing and business management. Following in the steps of his father, he decided to enter the legal profession and obtained his Juris Doctor cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2012.

While there, he served as the Student Bar Association's Class Representative as well as the Chapter President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He also received his Certificate of Merit in Property Law. The State Bar of Michigan admitted him to practice the following year, and Mr. Machnik gained invaluable legal experience serving as a law clerk to Judges Bakker and Cronin in Allegan County, as an intern with the Cass County Prosecutor’s Office, and as associate and partner with several prominent area law firms.

Along with maintaining a successful legal practice, Mr. Machnik serves on the Risk Management Committee and the Advocacy Committee of the Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Southwest Michigan Professionals Network and the Stratford Hills Condominium Association, and he is a member of the Junior Leadership Committee of his area's Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter.
