Cullen B. McKinney is a founding member and principal of Tanoury, Nauts, McKinney & Garbarino, PLLC, located in Detroit, Michigan. Focusing his practice exclusively on civil litigation, he defends individuals and companies throughout the metropolitan Detroit area in matters involving general and professional negligence, environmental law, automobile negligence and product liability as well as health law and premises liability. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts with distinction, Mr. McKinney attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1993. While in law school, he served on the Moot Court Board of Directors and was an editor of the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review. Admitted to practice in Michigan, Mr. McKinney is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. A member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. McKinney frequently gives lectures and seminars throughout the state on professional liability and negligence litigation. A native of Michigan and a proud member of the Michigan State University Alumni Association, he shows off his regional pride and love for sports by supporting the Spartans, the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers.
