After attending Northern Michigan University and graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts, Ms. Henderson then went to Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She earned her Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude.
After law school, Ms. Henderson built her legal experience by working with estate planning and wealth management law for a law firm in Chicago. In 2005, she decided to return the area where she was born. She uses her experience in those legal areas with her current clients who are going through a complex divorce. Ms. Henderson is admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the Michigan Supreme Court and the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians tribal court.
Ms. Henderson stays active in the legal community, continually improving her negotiation and litigation skills. She is known as one of the hardest working attorneys in her law firm and was honored by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the top 100 trial attorneys in the nation. In 2009, she served as an instructor for The Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
