Mr. Aloia graduated from Michigan State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism before moving on to law school. In 1999, he earned his Juris Doctor from the same school and was appointed as an assistant prosecutor for Oakland County. During his time with the office, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department gave him a Distinguished Service Award and a Commendation.
Admitted to practice in the state of Michigan, Mr. Aloia is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. In 2015, he was named to the Macomb County Jury Commission, and he has served on the Supreme Court Committee on Model Jury Instructions for almost a decade.
A member of The Federalist Society, he is also actively involved with the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Aloia is the Former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for DeLaSalle Collegiate High School and an active member of the St. Lawrence Parish Finance Committee.
